5th Graders Gear Up for Their Future with “Day of the Notables”
The fifth-grade learners showcased their learnings through melodies, movements, and memoirs during their “Day of the Notables” on February 25, 2026 at the auditorium and gym.
Students creatively presented notable figures through song, dance, biographies, talambuhay projects, polyhedra shaped like their chosen individual, and embroidery inspired by their chosen figure’s life.
According to Galilee teacher Krisha Saliendra, the event aimed to prepare learners for their PYP Exhibition the following year.
Saliendra mentioned some challenges that arose, such as limited time to practice and scheduling conflicts. “We’re really thankful for the grace of God that the learners were able to finish what they needed to finish despite not having a lot of time to practice,” she said.
The event highlighted not only the students’ creativity but also their dedication and growth as they made meaningful and memorable connections with history.
