From Inquiry to Impact: Jordan Learners Present at PYPx 2026

Jordan students showcased their learning during the Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYPx) held at the school auditorium and gymnasium on April 15-16, 2026. The exhibition served as the culminating experience of their PYP journey, highlighting the Learner Profile Attributes and Approaches to Learning skills they had developed.

With the theme, “Earth Shakers, Change Makers,” the learners presented their research on global issues aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including world hunger, poverty, pollution, unequal access to quality education, and climate change.

Through panel displays and interactive presentations, the students proposed thoughtful and creative solutions to address these real-world challenges.

Moreover, the exhibition aimed to inspire awareness and empathy, encouraging the school community to reflect on the realities faced by people around the world.

The event also featured creative performances, including a dance and song number to the Filipino classic “Masdan Mo ang Kapaligiran” by Asin and composed original lyrics set to the melody of “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, creatively expressing their call to care for the environment.

“What’s unique about this year’s PYP Exhibition was the addition of a play entitled ‘Earth Shakers, Change Makers,’ which also served as this year’s PYPx theme,” shared Primary Years Programme Coordinator Emie Joane Guintu. “Each Jordan class presented its own version of the play, with a total of four performances across two days.”

Guintu added that the focus of the exhibition this year shifted from displays and festivities to the depth and impact of the learners’ research.

The PYPx 2026 demonstrated not only the learners’ knowledge and skills but also their growing sense of responsibility as young changemakers committed to making a difference in the world.
