Gacias Rises as SG President for S.Y. 2026-2027

After a week of campaigning, Jason Bryan Gacias emerged victorious as the new Student Government (SG) President for School Year 2026 to 2027. Gacias, currently serving as Treasurer, will succeed incumbent President Sydney Paige Pesengco as the next leader of the student organization.  

Joining Gacias in the SG next year are Kyle Maverick Chua as External Vice President, Kylie Gabriella Pesengco as the Internal Vice President, Thomas John Pesengco as Secretary, Annalia Eve Hui as Public Relations Officer, Nigel Timothy Ang as Treasurer, Joshua Samuel Chiu as Auditor, Brielle Dominique Ong as Business Manager, and Caitlin Summer Chua as Assistant Business Manager. 

Meanwhile, the newly elected level representatives include Ariana Co, Lance Thierry Go, Nathan Liong, and Natalie Kamille Yu for Nazareth; Samantha Jo Ang, Alyssa Grace Ng, and Jacob William Pesengco for Berea; Sophie Alexa Hernandez, Ashtyn Taylor Lim, Sophia Jesse Mercado, and Baron Daniel Ong for Damascus; Angelie Nicole Chua, Addison Gail Leong, Sophia Elyse Liao, and Cecilia Yue for Patmos; Sean Arthur Tsai for Olive; and Kimi Lauren Esteban and Samuel Wang for Zion.

Grades 6 to 12 students gathered at the auditorium and lecture hall for the Miting de Avance last  March 18 to hear the candidates’ campaign speeches. The following day, students cast their online votes at the fifth-floor Biology Lab and sixth-floor Computer Lab. This year’s elections recorded a voter turnout of 88.91%, with a total of 466 out of 561 students voting in this year’s SG elections, over 10 percent higher than last year’s turnout of 78.58%.
