MGCNLCA 12U Volleyball Team Finishes Third at TAPAT Division Meet

The MGC New Life Christian Academy 12-Under Volleyball Team concluded their Palarong Pambansa journey after placing third in the Taguig-Pateros Division Meet last January 10, where only the top team in the division advances to the regional level.

In their first game, the New Lifers fought valiantly against Daang Hari Elementary School (DES), pushing the first set to a triple deuce. Despite their efforts, DES gained the upper hand and closed it out at 28–30, 15–25, handing the New Lifers a tough opening loss.

Determined to bounce back from their first-match loss and secure the second seed, the team fought hard, taking a set off Pateros Elementary School, but the opponents’ relentless attacks proved too strong for the New Lifers, who fell 16–25, 25–16, and 6–15. 

The third-place finish marked the end of the New Lifers’ Palarong Pambansa journey, following their championship runs in both the Group of Private School Owners and Administrators (GPSOA) tournament  and GPSOA-APSA-Tapat (Association of Private Schools and Administrations-Tapat) dual meet.
